When you use Codebound Volt, we may collect the following information:

• Discord server (guild) ID and name
• Discord user IDs of server members (for leaderboard and economy features)
• Message activity metadata (message counts, not message content)
• Voice activity metadata (join/leave times, not audio content)
• Server configuration settings chosen by administrators
• Payment information processed securely through Paddle

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service (leaderboards, points economy, rewards)
• Process subscription payments
• Improve and optimize the Service
• Communicate with server owners about their subscription

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in secure PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry best practices for data security and access control. Payment data is handled entirely by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) and never stored on our servers.

4. Message Content

Codebound Volt does not read, store, or log message content. We only track message counts for the purposes of voltage calculation and leaderboard ranking.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. Payment processing is handled by Paddle under their own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your server uses the Service. When the bot is removed from a server, we retain server configuration for 30 days in case of re-installation. After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted. You may request immediate data deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to data we store about your server
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your server data

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13, in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify server owners of any material changes through our Discord support server.
